Two Democratic lawmakers are pressing six Big Law firms and the White House to provide details on the terms of deals reached with President Donald Trump and what was said in those deal meetings.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Connecticut, ranking member of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, sent letters dated Sunday to Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison; Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom; Milbank; Kirkland & Ellis; Sullivan & Cromwell; Willkie Farr & Gallagher; and White House Counsel David Warrington. The letters request a response by April 14.
