Harvard Law Alumni Circulate Letter Condemning EOs Against Law Firms

Harvard Law School alumni are circulating a letter and gathering signatures to express concerns and prompt the school to speak out over recent executive orders that have targeted law firms and their lawyers for representing certain clients.

So far, the letter has garnered more than 300 signatures, but has not yet been sent to law school leadership, David Abromowitz, a 1982 graduate of Harvard Law who helped organize the effort, told Law.com on Tuesday. “After we get a much larger number of signatures, after we reach a critical mass,” the letter will be sent to HLS Interim Dean John C.P. Goldberg, along with the provost and president of Harvard, said Abromowitz, of counsel at Goulston & Storrs.
