The University of Chicago Law School this week released an open-access legal desk reference that lawyers can use to learn about Web3 to expand their transactional or litigation practice and that investors and managers can use to learn about the main legal risks they face.
Anup Malani and Todd Henderson, professors at UChicago Law, were the editors behind the publication. Malani observed that in her experience of teaching an introduction to blockchain course since 2017, the teaching materials to study law have increased, but the legal scholarship was of the classic law journal variety about what the law should do versus what the law actually does.
