An association of more than 700 law firm partners filed an amicus brief Friday in support of Susman Godfrey’s lawsuit against the Trump administration, saying the president’s executive orders against firms have already led to a chill in the legal industry.
Attorneys from many top firms signed on, including at DLA Piper; Akerman; Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati; Greenberg Traurig; Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough; Reed Smith; Sheppard Mullin; Holland & Knight; Troutman Pepper Locke; Morrison & Foerster; Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; and King & Spalding.
