Jacksonville Law Celebrates Inaugural Grads, Wilmington Law Wraps Second Year

Jacksonville University College of Law celebrated its inaugural graduating class with 13 students graduating on May 2, while Wilmington University School of Law winds down its second year and High Point University’s Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law closes out its first.

Jacksonville Law was granted provisional approval by the American Bar Association in February 2024 after submitting its application in March 2023, a year after its board of trustees voted unanimously to launch the school. The school and accepted 26 law degree students out of 171 applications in its inaugural fall 2022 semester, according to itsĀ Standard 509 report. The school now has eight full-time professors and one part-time professor.
