After seeing relatively flat revenues in 2023, Dechert last year made significant strides in financial performance, raking in 17% more in firm revenue over the prior year to cross the $1.5 billion threshold, and experiencing a whopping 47% jump in net income.
Dechert said 2024 was the most successful financial year in the firm’s near-150-year history, and surpasses its previous high-water mark in 2021, which saw increased demand in the year following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the firm’s revenue has grown by nearly $500 million since 2018, much of that growth has occurred in three strong years, interspersed with several years of flat or declining growth.
