Abbe Lowell, a former Winston & Strawn litigator known for representing politically connected individuals on both sides of the aisle, unveiled the launch of Lowell & Associates on Friday, joined by several young attorneys who prominently quit their former firms in response to their reaction to assaults from the Trump administration.
Lowell, who most recently signed on to represent New York Attorney General Letitia James in her current showdown with the Trump administration regarding several of her real estate transactions, played notable roles in representing Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden; Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of current President Donald Trump; lobbyist Jack Abramoff; former U.S. Sen. John Edwards; and rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
