Ex-Associates Say Trump Deals Render Big Law Leaders Unfit for Board Positions, Launch Campaign for Their Removal

A group of former Big Law associates who resigned over their firms’ deals with the Trump administration launched an email-writing campaign on Wednesday that invites the general public to pressure industry groups to remove firm managers from their boards.

The group—which includes former Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom associate Rachel Cohen, former Kirkland & Ellis associate Jacqui Pittman and former Willkie Farr & Gallagher associate Andrew Silberstein—circulated a spreadsheet with the names of leadership committee members at the nine law firms that struck deals with the administration after learning they had been targeted.
