Ballard Spahr was hit with a lawsuit Wednesday in which the Am Law 100 firm was accused of wrongfully firing a legal administrative assistant for taking time off to care for her sick husband.
Ex-Ballard Spahr legal assistant Dori Gardiner alleged in the suit that her ex-employer violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act when it terminated her from her post at the firm.
