\n\tThe IRS has come knocking on Quavo\u2019s door for $3 million in allegedly unpaid income taxes dating back to 2021.<\/p>\n

\n\tA tax lien notice filed in January shows that the Migos rapper (born Quavious Marshall) has a balance of $2.9 million in unpaid federal taxes and penalties. The IRS claims he owes $916,000 from the 2021 tax year, $887,000 from 2022 and $1.1 million from 2024.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe IRS has now placed a lien on Quavo\u2019s property, including his 11,000 square-foot home in Alpharetta, Ga. This is essentially a warning that if the rapper does not pay up, the federal government could eventually seize and sell off his assets to satisfy the tax debts.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,\u201d reads the IRS notice to Quavo. \u201cTherefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReps for Migos did not immediately return a request for comment on Wednesday (March 4).<\/p>\n

\n\tThis is not the first time Quavo has been notified of unpaid income taxes. Last year, Georgia\u2019s Department of Revenue served him with two liens totaling $496,000 for unpaid state taxes and related penalties from 2022 and 2023.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Quavo\u2019s Migos collaborator Offset got hit with a federal tax lien notice of his own in 2024 that cited nearly $1.6 million in unpaid income taxes from 2021. Offset (Kiari Cephus) eventually paid off the debts last year, and the IRS notified him in December 2025 that his lien had been released. \u00a0<\/p>\n
