In August, an AI artists signed a record deal that raised thorny legal questions. In November, the major labels raised even more by inking settlements with AI firms Suno and Udio. \n\tSAMPLE SPAT<\/strong> \u2013 WWE superstar John Cena is facing a lawsuit over the iconic horn riff from his entrance theme song \u2013 a case that shines a light on the track\u2019s bizarre backstory of samples and credits.<\/p>\n

\n\tBEHIND THE SCENES<\/strong> \u2013 A federal appeals court says Adidas didn\u2019t violate securities laws by failing to warn shareholders about offensive behavior from Ye (formerly Kanye West) before his 2022 downfall.\u00a0<\/p>\n
