Marasco is seeking to monopolize basic concepts \u201cfound throughout the world in countless works of art,\u201d they wrote, including something as simple as a \u201cfemale worker navigating a patriarchal corporate system.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cPlaintiff alleges that artist unlawfully used plaintiff\u2019s ideas about time, a false or betrayed love, a woman being \u201cgaslighted,\u201d guilt, abandonment, and the concept of using a chair in a dance routine,\u201d Taylor\u2019s attorneys write.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOn Monday, Marasco quickly filed a response in court, arguing it was too early to dismiss her case. She claimed that she had, in fact, cited \u201cmultiple instances of verbatim phrasing\u201d pulled directly from her poems.
