It appears to be a major miscalculation for the city of Chicago to seek a new trial in this case and expose its taxpayers to another significant judgment in a case where the loss of innocent human life was preventable,&#8221; said the plaintiff&#8217;s attorney, Boris G. Samovalov of Zane D.
