But in a new filing on Tuesday, his lawyers strongly urge the judge to reconsider \u2013 arguing that no other prostitution \u201cjohn\u201d would get such treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cSean Combs should not be in jail for this conduct,\u201d writes <strong>Marc Agnfilo<\/strong> and Diddy\u2019s other lawyers. \u201cIn fact, he may be the only person currently in a United States jail for being any sort of john.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tDiddy\u2019s lawyers argue that harsh penalties, including pre-sentencing jail, is reserved for the people who run prostitution operations \u2013 and not for one person who merely hired prostitutes. They say the case against Diddy and his ongoing incarceration are genuinely unique in more than a century since the federal prostitution law was enacted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThere has literally never been a case like this one, where a person and his girlfriend arranged for adult men to have consensual sexual relations with the adult long-term girlfriend,\u201d Diddy\u2019s lawyers write. \u201cMr. Combs is incarcerated while everyone else involved in this identical conduct \u2013 his girlfriends, the [prostitutes], the agency\u2019s leaders, the porn stars and others \u2013 walk free, as they should.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIf released, Combs\u2019 lawyers say he will submit to previously-offered restrictions, including a $50 million bond and travel restrictions.
