Gavin Newsom have <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.alm.com\/bd\/f8\/f97bf4c54979ac55e1b00e08cfdc\/show-temp-4.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" link-data=\"{\" cms.site.owner=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">sued <\/a>the Trump administration over its &#8220;illegal takeover&#8221; of the California National Guard to quash protests against immigration raids in Los Angeles last weekend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>  <!----> <!----> <!----><\/p>\n<div data-v-1c1aa57e=\"\">\n<p>The suit alleges that the federalization of the National Guard &#8220;deprives California of resources to protect itself and its citizens,&#8221; including those needed to intercept drugs at the border, and violation of 10 U.S.C. \u00a7 12406, which requires the governor&#8217;s consent. The suit was filed late Monday afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
