Durkin for the Northern District of Illinois granted Sonrai Systems&#8217;s summary judgment motion against The Heil, doing business as Environmental Solutions, and Anthony Romano&#8217;s breach-of-contract counterclaims. In September 2017, Sonrai filed its <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.alm.com\/f1\/61\/efce2b3d489fa4368093549344fa\/sonraicomplaint2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" link-data=\"{\" cms.site.owner=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">second amended complaint<\/a> claiming Heil breached a June 2014 written agreement when it acquired and began using data collection products from another company, 3rd Eye, in September 2016. Heil <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.alm.com\/33\/8a\/7ac936e448c5bc3d334abbb281d9\/sonreiheilresponse2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" link-data=\"{\" cms.site.owner=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">filed a counterclaim<\/a> in October 2017 claiming Sonrai disclosed its trade secrets and engaged in deceptive trade practices, among other claims, during the partnership.
