The plaintiff filed the suit Wednesday and claim P&amp;G has made false environmental stewardship claims with its &#8220;Keep Forests as Forests&#8221; campaign while engaging in harmful industrial logging practices in Canadian forests. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>  <!----> <!----> <!----><\/p>\n<div data-v-1c1aa57e=\"\">\n<p><b>Takeaway:<\/b> &#8220;Greenwashing&#8217; cases are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.com\/2025\/03\/07\/litigation-trends-to-watch-claims-surge-over-corporate-greenwashing-toothpaste-contamination-and-ai-driven-promises\/\" target=\"_blank\" link-data=\"{\" cms.site.owner=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">on the rise<\/a> in the food, beverage and consumer goods sectors, and they are part of a broader trend of cases accusing companies of misleading consumers about the sustainability of products and business practices. In one instance, milk company <a href=\"https:\/\/pdfserver.amlaw.com\/legalradar\/pm-57016037_complaint.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" link-data=\"{\" cms.site.owner=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Fairlife<\/a> and its parent company, Coca-Cola, were accused in February of tolerating animal cruelty in their supply chain and misrepresenting non-recyclable packaging as recyclable.
