New Jersey court records reviewed by <em>Billboard<\/em> on Wednesday (May 28) showed that the Brooklyn rapper (born Maxie Lee Ryles III) pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree terroristic threats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tFivio\u2019s attorney, Adam Lustberg, explains to <em>Billboard <\/em>that his client\u2019s guilty plea comes in exchange for the state of New Jersey\u2019s agreement to \u201cdrop the four firearms-related charges\u201d tied to the case, which include unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tLustberg adds that as part of the agreement, the state agreed \u201cto seek probation at the time of sentencing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Bergen County Prosecutor\u2019s Office tells <em>Billboard<\/em> that Fivio Foreign is due for sentencing on Aug. 1, but Lustberg says he believes it could happen much sooner than that if all parties involved are ready to proceed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAccording to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/05\/27\/fivio-foreign-gun-case-pleads-guilty-resolution-new-jersey-probation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> <em>TMZ<\/em><\/a>, Fivio Foreign was arrested on New Year\u2019s Day in New Jersey after a woman claimed that the \u201cBig Drip\u201d rapper pulled a gun on her when she asked him to jump her car while pulled over. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOn the music side, Fivio is gearing up to unleash his <em>Movie Theater Music<\/em> joint EP with Gino Mondana, which is set to arrive on Aug. 8, so it\u2019s possible the Brooklyn native will be a free man by the time the project hits DSPs. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEarlier this year, Fivio released his \u201cPlaqueboymax\u201d diss track against the streamer and hopped into his country-drill bag with Caldwell for \u201cGet Out the Way.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fivio Foreign has been behind bars since January, but a resolution in his gun case appears to be on the horizon.
