\n\tKid Cudi is expected to testify as a witness in Diddy\u2019s sex trafficking trial. <\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to CNN<\/em>, <\/a>prosecutor Maurene Comey announced on Tuesday (May 20) that Cudi (born Scott Mescudi) will take the stand later this week.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast week, during Cassie\u2019s time on the stand, she testified that Diddy became irate and threatened to blow up Cudi\u2019s car after learning she was dating the Cleveland-bred rapper in 2011. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cToo much danger, too much uncertainty of what could happen if we continued to see each other,\u201d she reportedly said of why she ended things romantically with Cudi after a brief dating stint.<\/p>\n

\n\tCassie\u2019s bombshell 2023 sexual abuse lawsuit against Combs accused Diddy of blowing up Kid Cudi\u2019s car in his driveway after repeatedly threatening the \u201cDay \u2018n\u2019 Nite\u201d rapper. Reps for Cudi confirmed the car explosion to The New York Times<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n

\n\tCassie\u2019s mother, Regina Ventura, took the stand and claimed that Diddy demanded he be paid $20,000 for the money he spent on Cassie as he became enraged to find out she was dating Cudi. <\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Complex<\/a><\/em>, Ventura took out a home equity loan to get Diddy the cash, but returned the money days later without an explanation.<\/p>\n

\n\tAn email sent from Cassie to her mom was reportedly shown in court, which accused Diddy of threatening to leak a pair of sex tapes featuring Cassie. \u201cHe is going to release two explicit tapes of me,\u201d the 2011 email reportedly reads. \u201cOne on Christmas Day\u2026 Another one soon after that. He has also said that he will be having someone hurt me and Scott Mescudi physically.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKid Cudi\u2019s testimony will follow George Kaplan, who was an employee of Diddy\u2019s who quit after allegedly witnessing physical abuse. Cudi\u2019s time on the stand could come on Wednesday (May 21) or Thursday (May 22). <\/p>\n
