\n\tAubrey O\u2019Day has confirmed she will not be taking the stand in Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs\u2018 federal sex-trafficking trial.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe former Danity Kane member made the announcement on Friday (May 16) during the premiere episode of Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Present: Aubrey O\u2019Day, Covering the Diddy Trial<\/em>, an iHeartRadio podcast<\/a> recorded in New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not here to testify for the Diddy trial, that I know of,\u201d O\u2019Day said, according to People<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 41-year-old singer suggested her involvement could still evolve, revealing she had been \u201ccontacted by Homeland Security\u201d and had a meeting with the agency, which led March raids on Diddy\u2019s homes in Los Angeles and Miami.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier in the week, O\u2019Day \u2014 who appeared on MTV\u2019s Making the Band<\/em> under Diddy\u2019s mentorship \u2014 sparked speculation about a possible court appearance after sharing a cryptic Instagram post from New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHey New York!!! Where y\u2019all think I should head first?\u201d she wrote on May 14, including a scale emoji. Us Weekly<\/em> also reported<\/a> that a source claimed O\u2019Day was subpoenaed to testify at the trial.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the podcast episode, O\u2019Day clarified the post\u2019s intent. \u201cI posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and enjoying myself because I wanted to make it clear to everyone that I am not here testifying,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tDiddy is currently facing multiple federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. His trial is set to resume Monday (May 19). If convicted on all counts, he could face life in prison.<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Day previously spoke out after Diddy\u2019s September 2024 arrest. \u201cThe purpose of Justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get this. I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me. Things are finally changing,\u201d she wrote on X at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\tDanity Kane, the girl group formed in 2005 on Making the Band<\/em>, was signed to Diddy\u2019s Bad Boy Records. O\u2019Day was removed from the group in 2008 and later claimed on the Call Her Daddy<\/em> podcast in 2022<\/a> that her exit stemmed from her refusal to comply with non-music-related requests from the music mogul.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
