Prosecutors had argued Mclntyre fatally shot Saldivar after stealing his photography equipment, while defense attorneys contested both the physical evidence and eyewitness testimony, saying they didn\u2019t directly tie Mclntyre to the crime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTay-K, who was a minor at the time of the shooting, now faces five to 99 years in prison. Had he been convicted of capital murder, he would have received an automatic life sentence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe rapper, who rose to fame with the 2017 hit \u201cThe Race,\u201d was convicted on a different murder charge in 2019 related to a 2016 home invasion.
