Blakey of the Northern District of Illinois <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.alm.com\/d2\/d3\/08ecef2847c29c8e8d3188166b9c\/83e8149b-bec1-4b9e-ba03-5ce7e219d0ed.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" link-data=\"{\" cms.site.owner=\"\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">denied DLA Piper&#8217;s <\/a>motion to dismiss an employment discrimination suit brought by Ryan Shepherd, who worked for the firm&#8217;s hospitality department at the Chicago office. In response to a vaccination mandate, Shepherd sought an exemption in October 2021, claiming that direct injections of &#8220;foreign biological materials&#8221; went against his beliefs as a Christian.
