The largest contracts went to firms helping uphold controversial culture war policies by helping implement laws and litigate any challenges to those laws. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.com\/dailybusinessreview\/2023\/01\/10\/in-desantiss-sunshine-state-politically-connected-firms-make-hay\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><u>$123 million budget outpaced<\/u><\/a> DeSantis\u2019 predecessor, now-Sen.
