Colorado&#8217;s version, enacted in 2019, prevents licensed counseling professionals from trying to &#8220;change an individual&#8217;s sexual orientation or gender identity,&#8221; including by conforming their &#8220;gender expressions&#8221; or by reducing their &#8220;romantic attraction&#8221; toward individuals of the same sex.
