Jurisdiction, Appellate Panels Rules in Fatal Plane Crash Case"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div data-v-e97bc92c=\"\">\n<div data-v-e97bc92c=\"\">\n<p>The Georgia Court of Appeals found that an out-of-state aircraft manufacturer accused of performing a faulty repair on a plane that crashed and killed two people could not be sued in Georgia because the company&#8217;s contacts with the state were insufficient to establish jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>  <!----> <!----> <!----><\/p>\n<div data-v-e97bc92c=\"\">\n<p>A three-judge appellate panel issued an <a href=\"https:\/\/efast.gaappeals.us\/download?filingId=f3bb8eb0-90a6-4038-9372-949a6b20a2ad\" target=\"_blank\" link-data=\"{\" cms.site.owner=\"\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">opinion<\/a> on Feb. 19 in the case <i>Cascade Aircraft Management v. Velazco<\/i>.
