The lawsuit was filed by Justin Bowman, a student who survived the classroom shooting. The student alleges he is owed $50 million in damages even though a $15 settlement was reached last January for the families of three students who were killed in the attack.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>  <!----> <!----> <!----><\/p>\n<div data-v-e97bc92c=\"\">\n<p><b>Takeaway:<\/b> Lawsuits over mass shootings are increasingly common. Another one is expected to be filed this year over the mass shooting that took place in Lewiston, Maine, at the hands of a former member of the U.S. Army.
