Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, to 11 years in prison following his July conviction on charges including bribery, extortion, honest services fraud, obstruction of justice and conspiracy.<\/div>\n<p>  <!----> <!----> <!----><\/p>\n<div data-v-e97bc92c=\"\">\n<p>Menendez, 71, showed no discernible reaction as U.S. District Court Judge Sidney Stein of the Southern District of New York handed down the sentence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p> <!----> <!----> <!----> <!----><\/p>\n<div data-v-e97bc92c=\"\">\n<p>\u201cYou were successful, powerful, and stood at the apex of our political system,\u201d Stein said. \u201cSomewhere along the way, you lost your way.
