\n\tMegan Thee Stallion<\/strong> is suing a YouTuber and social media personality who she claims is a \u201cmouthpiece and puppet\u201d for Tory Lanez<\/strong>, accusing the woman of \u201cchurning out falsehoods\u201d about the criminal case stemming from Lanez shooting her.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a lawsuit filed Wednesday, attorneys for the rapper (Megan Pete) accused Milagro Gramz<\/strong> (Milagro Elizabeth Cooper) of carrying out a public campaign to \u201cdenigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements\u201d about her.<\/p>\n

\n\tThat allegedly included Gramz sharing a pornographic \u201cdeepfake\u201d depicting the rapper \u2013 a move that Megan\u2019s lawyers say violate a Florida statute banning \u201caltered sexual depictions\u201d of real people.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEnough is enough,\u201d writes Megan\u2019s attorneys at the law firm Quinn Emanuel. \u201cMs. Pete\u2014a victim of violent crime and champion of women\u2019s rights to her millions of fans worldwide\u2014will no longer stand for defendant\u2019s campaign of harassment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe lawsuit also accused Gramz of cyberstalking, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement posted to X (formerly Twitter), Gramz acknowledged the lawsuit, saying she had \u201cbeen informed that I\u2019m being sued by Alex Spiro<\/strong> on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion.\u201d After quoting from a threat letter, she said: \u201cOf course we\u2019ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new case came days after a high-profile false story about Megan and Lanez \u2013 claiming incorrectly that an appeals court had declared \u201cinnocent\u201d in the shooting \u2014 circulated on social media. Spiro, Megan\u2019s long time attorney, warned yesterday that he was planning legal action over such \u201cnonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLanez (Daystar Peterson) was convicted in December 2022 on three felony counts over the violent 2020 incident, in which he shot at the feet of Megan during an argument following a pool party at Kylie Jenner\u2019s house in the Hollywood Hills. In August 2023, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He has filed an appeal, which remains pending.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the new lawsuit, Megan\u2019s attorneys say Gramz repeatedly spread falsehoods about the case, including questioning whether she was even shot and claiming she was \u201ccaught trying to deceive the courts.\u201d More recently, they say Gramz has pushed the \u201coutlandish claim\u201d that the gun used in the shooting had gone missing.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDefendant Cooper\u2019s statements recklessly disregarded the truth and suggested that the firearm was never presented in court because it had allegedly disappeared. It has not,\u201d Megan\u2019s lawyers write. \u201cThe firearm remains in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for the deepfake video, the lawsuit does not accuse Gramz of directly creating or posting the video, but claims that she \u201cencouraged her followers\u201d to watch it, including by pointing users to a post that had directly shared the video.<\/p>\n
