According to court records, Tekashi pleaded not guilty to the new violations and was ordered to remain in custody until his next court date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn a statement to <em>Billboard<\/em>, Tekashi\u2019s attorney <strong>Lance Lazzaro<\/strong> said his client had been \u201ccharged with three technical violations regarding his supervised release\u201d and that he was \u201cconfident that each specification will be dismissed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTekashi was originally charged in 2018 with federal racketeering and murder conspiracy charges over his involvement with a New York City street gang called Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. He then famously flipped on the gang and provided bombshell testimony in return for a plea deal, which saw him sentenced to just two years in prison and five years of supervised release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAt Tuesday\u2019s hearing, prosecutors argued that Tekashi had violated his release conditions by traveling to Las Vegas without permission, failing to submit for drug testing and testing positive for methamphetamine, according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/innercitypress\/status\/1851318053880955329\" target=\"_blank\">Matthew Russell Lee of <em>Inner City Press<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe hearing featured arguments from Lazzaro that the failed drug test was from the use of prescribed Adderall, according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jruss_jruss\/status\/1851325640961589740\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Russell of <em>Courthouse News<\/em><\/a> \u2014 but the judge was apparently unswayed, citing a \u201cbroader pattern\u201d of misconduct during parole that he said suggests a \u201cfull spectrum disregard for the law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTekashi\u2019s next court date is an evidentiary hearing set for Nov. 12.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOnce a rising star in the world of hip-hop and social media, Tekashi was charged in November 2018 alongside several other members of Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, who prosecutors claimed \u201cwreaked havoc on New York City\u201d by \u201cengaging in brazen acts of violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBut just a day after being arrested, Hernandez cut a deal with federal prosecutors to flip on his crew in return for lenience.
