Claims Explorer is the latest generative artificial intelligence skill to be added to Westlaw Precision with CoCounsel, which first incorporated AI-assisted research in November 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The new offering is meant to help users find the right cause of action for their set of facts, taking into account factors such as applicable claim thresholds, damage limits, the availability of attorney fees and more. \u201cFor legal professionals filing a lawsuit, defending a lawsuit, or advising clients on potential liability, often their first step is to identify applicable claims or counterclaims,\u201d the news release stated. \u201cYet not all claims are equal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>  Screenshot of Claims Explorer from Thomson Reuters.
