However, the court only granted fees pertaining to one of the discovery delays raised by plaintiff\u2019s counsel, Ice Miller, resulting in an award reduced by nearly 60% of the original request.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1Q0T9m02Ppbn8ApDhiaLvD0GfFWxWt-jw\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">July 15 opinion<\/a>,\u00a0U.S. District Chief Magistrate Judge Donald L. Cabell\u00a0of the District of Massachusetts granted Novi\u2019s request for sanctions relating to expenses incurred from its motion to compel discovery in its breach-of-contract suit against defendant Earth OpCo, and its private equity owner, Windsong Capital Management.
