{"id":1825,"date":"2024-07-18T16:18:25","date_gmt":"2024-07-18T16:18:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usatrustedlawyers.com\/blog\/soulja-boy-sues-tasha-k-over-claims-of-sexual-encounter-with-man\/"},"modified":"2024-07-18T16:18:25","modified_gmt":"2024-07-18T16:18:25","slug":"soulja-boy-sues-tasha-k-over-claims-of-sexual-encounter-with-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usatrustedlawyers.com\/blog\/soulja-boy-sues-tasha-k-over-claims-of-sexual-encounter-with-man\/","title":{"rendered":"Soulja Boy Sues Tasha K Over Claims of Sexual Encounter With Man"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/billboard.com\/artist\/soulja-boy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Soulja Boy<\/a> is suing social media personalities <strong>Tasha K<\/strong> and <strong>William The Baddest<\/strong> for defamation after they allegedly made false statements about the rapper having a sexual encounter with a man.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles court, Soulja Boy (<strong>DeAndre Cortez Way<\/strong>) cited a May interview on Tasha K\u2019s celebrity gossip podcast in which William allegedly recounted explicit details of a supposed tryst he\u2019d had with the \u201cCrank That\u201d rapper.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSoulja Boy\u2019s lawyers say these statements were false and have brought \u201cembarrassment and disgrace that can cause fans to abandon and withdraw from supporting him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cPlaintiff has suffered actual reputational and professional harm as a result of defendants maliciously targeting plaintiff and seeking to sabotage his careers, redefining his character as a man who is not straight, a fraud and dishonest person in the entertainment industry, as a public figure, which is not true,\u201d the rapper\u2019s lawyers write.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIt\u2019s not the first time Tasha K (<strong>Latasha Kebe<\/strong>) has been accused of defaming someone on \u201cUnWine With TashaK.\u201d Back in 2022, Cardi B won a nearly $4 million defamation verdict against her over salacious statements about drug use, STDs and prostitution. Tasha has since tried to use Chapter 11 bankruptcy to avoid paying most of that judgment, but a judge rejected that effort last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn the new case, Soulja Boy\u2019s attorneys are challenging statements made during a \u201ctell-all interview\u201d on May 16, in which William (<strong>William Thomas<\/strong>) recounted an \u201calleged intimate moment\u201d with the rapper.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAccording to quotes from the lawsuit, William said: \u201cSo I walked over there, I get on my knee, he\u2019s sitting on the edge of his bed. I started giving him oral, it\u2019s a big thang and it grew, you know to the left.\u201d The video itself no longer appears to be available on Tasha\u2019s YouTube channel and could not be reviewed by <em>Billboard<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAfter the interview went public, Soulja Boy says William has been \u201charassing and tormenting\u201d him on social media, including an X post featuring a \u201cdefaming and embarrassing sexual photoshopped picture\u201d that purports to depict himself with the rapper. William\u2019s post allegedly urged his followers to click through to a page on OnlyFans \u2013 a site frequently used to share sexually-explicit imagery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cAlthough the publications may be deleted, plaintiff will forever be damaged by the publications never being removed from the web,\u201d the rapper\u2019s lawyers write.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tDays after the interview was first published, attorneys for Soulja Boy say they sent a cease and desist letter to Tasha and William demanding that they delete the \u201cfalse, malicious and are completely outrageous\u201d statements.
