But on Monday (June 10), it crossed over into the realm of the truly bizarre.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It started when Young Thug\u2019s attorney, <strong>Brian Steel<\/strong>, said he had learned of an allegedly improper secret meeting between Judge <strong>Ural Glanville<\/strong>, state prosecutors, and a key witness. It ended with Steel being escorted into custody by a court officer. In between, the attorney and the judge engaged in an extraordinary back-and-forth \u2014 broadcast across the internet in real-time \u2014 over illegal leaks, witness coercion, and potential jail time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to give you five minutes. If you don\u2019t tell me who it is, I\u2019m going to put you in contempt,\u201d Glanville said at one point. \u201cI don\u2019t need five minutes,\u201d Steel fired back.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When the dust settled, Glanville had sentenced Steel to 20 days in jail, to be served over 10 consecutive weekends. Capping off the surreal proceedings? According to the union, those illegal \u201cinducements\u201d included a $200,000 interest-free loan to one ballplayer, and VIP tickets to Bad Bunny concerts to others.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>PHISH FUED<\/strong> \u2013 A Phish fan who bragged about taking the \u201cfirst bong hit to ever be ripped\u201d in the Las Vegas Sphere \u2014 and posted a viral video of him doing so \u2014 received a letter from Madison Square Garden Entertainment\u2019s lawyers <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fclick.email.billboard.com%2F%3Fqs%3D11d49846e601ebcc038b6e8bd1c9dd118c26c6ceda3297d6741e405a6e7471bad7070dd4cdd2eb75533ce038e52745d6&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cbdonahue%40billboard.com%7C1797f9e3aabd413ee4a808dc8a531c5f%7Ce950f25546e44144a778a6ff4f557492%7C0%7C0%7C638537336804308121%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=vw5Hrx8424QhT1gOkZthblznJ1kFneF0V4lD6x3gIoU%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\">permanently banning him<\/a> <\/strong>from the venue and all other MSG facilities.
