Both were arrested in early June and later released on bond. A trial date has not yet been set.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tA spokesman for Nike declined to comment on Friday. Attorneys for both defendants did not return requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMusic supervisors oversee the use of songs in films, TV shows and advertisements, including not just selecting music but also the complicated job of clearing it for use. The role would be particularly powerful at a company like Nike, a global consumer brand with a multi-billion dollar advertising budget that routinely uses iconic tracks in campaigns. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAccording to Fox 12, prosecutors say Griffith abused that position to send Nike money to Mosher\u2019s consulting firm Good Measure LLC, which offers \u201cclearance and licensing services for music featured in advertising,\u201d according to his LinkedIn page. After those payments were made, a portion would then allegedly be sent back to an entity owned by Griffith called Quiver and Bow LLC. The scheme allegedly ran from June 2020 to December 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn a statement to the outlet, Griffith\u2019s attorney Kristen Winemiller said: \u201cMr. Griffith\u2019s work for Nike has been highly successful. He is proud of what he has accomplished for the brand, both as an employee and a vendor, over their long association. There are few who could have done that work as efficiently or effectively as he has.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn his own statement, Mosher\u2019s attorney Chris Heywood said his client was cooperating with prosecutors on the \u201ccomplex and far-reaching\u201d case: \u201cFrom the outset, Brad Mosher offered his full cooperation to both Nike and law enforcement. To this point, that cooperation has occurred in private.
