According to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/news\/atlanta-gucci-mane-kidnapped-robbed-dallas-pooh-shiesty-big30\/\"><em>CBS News<\/em><\/a>, the DOJ identified Gucci Mane as one of the individuals at the meeting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOnce the meeting began inside the Dallas recording studio, the complaint alleges that an \u201carmed takeover\u201d ensued.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cWilliams Jr. produced an AK-style pistol and forced one of the victims to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint,\u201d Raybould said. \u201cThe remaining conspirators displayed firearms and robbed the other victims of Rolex watches, jewelry, cash and other high-value items. One of the victims was actually choked by one of the victims to near-unconsciousness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe complaint accuses one of Pooh Shiesty\u2019s co-conspirators of barricading the studio door so that the victims could not leave. Defendants also flaunted some of the stolen prized items on social media, as shown in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ndtx\/pr\/nine-men-including-well-known-musical-artists-federally-charged-kidnapping-music\" target=\"_blank\">press release<\/a> from the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office, Northern District of Texas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPooh Shiesty was on home confinement at the time of the January altercation after being released from prison in October. He served more than three years of a five-year sentence on firearm conspiracy charges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tShiesty is signed to Gucci Mane\u2019s 1017 Records company in partnership with Atlantic Records. Upon his release from prison, the Memphis rapper\u2019s \u201cFDO\u201d topped <em>Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Hot R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEight of the nine suspects were arrested on April 1 by the FBI, while one remains at large. The same day, the FBI also raided Shiesty\u2019s family home, located in Cordova, Tenn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOutside of Shiesty, his father and Big30, the<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ndtx\/pr\/nine-men-including-well-known-musical-artists-federally-charged-kidnapping-music\" target=\"_blank\"> U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office<\/a> listed Kedarius Waters, Terrance Rodgers, Damarian Gipson, Demarcus Glover, Kordae Johnson\u00a0and Darrion McDaniel as defendants in the case.
