Investor Sues to Recover Tokens From Bankruptcy Estate

A cryptocurrency investor who loaned 3,000 bitcoins to a now-defunct subsidiary of Digital Currency Group sued the venture capital corporation, its founder and the fallen company’s ex-CEO in the Southern District of New York to recover the digital assets from the bankruptcy estate.

And Joseph Pack, a bankruptcy attorney at Pack Law in Miami—who is not involved in the matter between plaintiff Vincent Falco and defendants DCG, its founder Barry Silbert and Genesis Global ex-CEO Soichiro “Michael” Moro—pointed toward a larger trend that is a point of fierce controversy among litigators.
