One chance encounter during an orientation meeting at the Baltimore prosecutor’s office over a decade ago served as the foundation for two litigators on opposite ends of the East Coast to score a recent win against a top institution in Boston.
Patrick Jennings, partner at The Ment Law Group in Westport, Connecticut, and Michael Turiello, partner at Skeen Law Offices in Charlottesville, Virginia, credit that August 2011 orientation as the beginning of a legal partnership and friendship. The duo prosecuted cases together in Baltimore for nearly a decade, which Turiello said prepared both of them for the highs and lows of being trial attorneys.
