Harvard Can’t Escape Suit Alleging Indifference to Campus Antisemitism, Judge Rules

A Massachusetts federal judge denied Harvard University’s motion to dismiss in an antisemitism case alleging that Harvard violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act in not protecting its Jewish students in the wake of Oct. 7.

The suit, brought by Kasowitz Benson Torres on behalf of Students Against Anti-Semitism, Inc.,  and other Harvard Jewish students, alleges that the university fostered an “antisemitic, hostile education environment generated by Harvard’s deliberate indifference to harassment and discrimination against Jewish students by pro-Hamas demonstrators on its campus.”
