Attorneys with Greenberg Traurig, the National Jewish Advocacy Center, Schoen Law Firm, and Holtzman Vogel have filed a lawsuit on behalf of the victims of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, accusing particular groups for the recent propaganda division in the United States.
The lawsuit was filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia against AJP Educational Foundation, also known as American Muslims for Palestine, and National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP), and accuses the groups of serving as propaganda for Hamas, which is designated by the U.S. as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. The complaint seeks compensatory damages for nine American and Israeli victims from the Oct. 7 attack, including survivors and family members, and civilians still displaced by the ongoing conflict.
