Bob Bodian, who first took the reins at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo in 2009, has been elected to his sixth consecutive three-year term as firm managing partner, one that Bodian said will be his last. Bodian, now approaching 70, is already the longest-serving managing partner in the firm’s 91-year history.
By the end of his new tenure, New York-based Bodian will have served 18 years in the role, bucking a trend in major law firms that have migrated toward shorter stints and co-chairs. He also maintains an active litigation practice, which he will continue to do once he steps down as managing partner in 2027, he said.
