Jenner, Quinn and King & Spalding Guiding Harvard in Battle With Trump Administration Over International Students

Harvard University, armed with different counsel, sued the Trump administration on Friday over its decision to prohibit international students from enrolling in its school.

Several partners at Jenner & Block are representing Harvard in the Friday complaint, in addition to the school’s counsel at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, King & Spalding and Lehotsky Keller Cohn. Those Jenner lawyers include Ishan Bhabha, the firm’s co-managing partner, as well as Ian Heath Gershengorn, Lauren J. Hartz and Andrianna Kastanek. The addition of Jenner among Harvard’s attorneys in this case — Harvard is a longtime client of Jenner — stands out since the law firm was targeted by a Trump executive order and has filed its own suit against the Trump administration.
