Amazon and Starbucks Win Full Dismissal of Biometric Data Privacy Case in Washington Federal Court

Amazon.com Inc. and Starbucks Corp., represented by Hueston Hennigan, achieved the full dismissal of a proposed biometric data privacy class action in Washington federal court on Monday.

Both parties stipulated the voluntary dismissal of all claims against Amazon and Starbucks with prejudice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. The defendants waived all claims and counterclaims against the plaintiffs and plaintiffs’ counsel, which included Bursor & Fisher, the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project, Riverside NW Law Group, Leung Law and Peter Romer-Friedman Law.
