A multimillion-dollar landmark verdict cannot replace the loss of a 10-year-old girl, but it can provide one Chicago family the opportunity to start to move forward.
That was the sentiment shared by Patrick A. Salvi and Lance D. Northcutt, Chicago-based attorneys with Salvi, Schostok & Prichard, who successfully secured a $79.85 million verdict on behalf of the family of Da’Karia Spicer, 10, who died from injuries in a crash caused by another motorist in pursuit with Chicago police. The girl was a passenger in her father’s car when they were caught in the crosshairs of the unauthorized pursuit in September 2020.
