It’s been three months since Jonesboro attorney Loletha Hale got booted from the race to replace Henry County State Court Judge Stephen N. Knights Jr. in the May 21 nonpartisan primary election.
Now Hale has lawyered up to submit ante litem notices containing defamation claims to at least two county leaders. Hale’s claims center around the basis for her disqualification, as declared in April by Henry County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Director Ameika Banks.
